Choose the Right Black Landau Bar Size for Your Vehicle
Black powder-coated removable landau bars are available in three sizes to fit a wide range of funeral vehicle applications. The right size depends on your available mounting area, vehicle style, and the overall look you want to achieve.
Our most compact option, the 18-1/4-inch size is best for motorcycles, specialty vehicles, smaller mounting areas, and select SUV or custom applications. The 26-inch size is a versatile option for many vans, SUVs, hearses, and custom funeral vehicles. Common vehicles where we suggest considering this size include the Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Odyssey, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and select Chevrolet Tahoe models. The 32-inch size is a popular option for vehicles with more available mounting space, including many vans, minivans, and select SUVs. Common vehicles where we suggest considering this size include the Ford Expedition, Jeep Wagoneer, Kia Carnival, Chrysler Town & Country, and Dodge Caravan.
Customers needing a larger option for expansive mounting areas, large SUVs, or commercial vehicle applications should explore our 39-1/2-inch stainless steel removable landau bar.
Easy Installation Without Permanent Modifications
G. Burns removable landau bars install using three adhesive mounting points on a clean, flat, smooth surface. No drilling, body modifications, or permanent changes to the vehicle are required. Glass is the most common mounting surface, but compatible painted surfaces may also be used. Please note that removal from painted surfaces may damage the paint, so customers should choose their installation surface carefully before mounting.
The removable design also makes it easy to take the bars off when cleaning the vehicle or caring for the finish. If you later transfer the landau bars to another compatible vehicle, simply install them with a new set of replacement fasteners.
Traditional Landau Bar Style Without Blind Spots
Add the traditional styling associated with hearses and funeral coaches without covering the surrounding glass. Unlike large decorative side panels, G. Burns removable landau bars help maintain visibility while still delivering the distinctive look many funeral homes and vehicle builders want.
The gloss black powder-coated finish offers a sleek, understated appearance that works especially well on dark vehicles and modern funeral home fleets. It is a practical way to add traditional landau bar styling while keeping the vehicle clean, functional, and professional.
