For example, some Ford Explorer applications may support either an 18-1/4-inch or 26-inch landau bar depending on the available mounting area and preferred proportion.
Vehicle shape, window size, trim, and available mounting space can vary, so we always recommend measuring your vehicle before ordering. The complete landau bar and all three mounting points need to fit comfortably on a flat, smooth mounting surface.
Easy Installation Without Permanent Modifications
G. Burns removable landau bars install using three adhesive mounting points on a clean, flat, smooth surface. No drilling, body modifications, or permanent changes to the vehicle are required.
Glass is the most common mounting surface, but compatible painted surfaces may also be used. Please note that removal from painted surfaces may damage the paint, so customers should choose their installation surface carefully before mounting.
The removable design also makes it easy to take the bars off when cleaning the vehicle or caring for the stainless steel finish. If you later transfer the landau bars to another compatible vehicle, simply install them with a new set of replacement fasteners.
